  • This particular young lady was the biggest pain in the ass, which turned out to be one hell of a roller coaster ride. She had a terrible habit of lying and deceiving, yet constantly kept the fun alive. She's one of those boy-crazy, "all about me" gals. However I must say, I had the most mischievous accounts of my life with this ex. She was a horrible addiction that I am glad to be rid of. Well, somewhat. It doesn't help to know that I bonded quite well with the rest of her family.
I can get into all kinds of details, but that's reserved for my journal. Let's just say there's plenty of action from both parties that aren't something to be proud of. Mainly hers. No reason to villainize her now, she's grown out of it I would like to think. Through her many transformations, I always have that image of her from the first time we met. And as ridiculous as it sounds, we've become good friends over the years, regardless the countless headaches.

This one was sparked by a recent Instagram photo of one of my muses. She wore a flannel shirt, in what she says, after a very long time and asked if she looked good in it. My response? Well, duh, she looks good in anything. I've known this beautiful woman for a decade now, and she hasn't aged a damn bit! Blessed I would say. Whenever I think up look that would suit her, it's usually elegant - a very vintage Hollywood look. This time around, I felt I should tap into her bad ass side. You know, boots to asses, while looking pretty. Love you, gorgeous.

The trouble with love is...no matter how hard you try to make her realize she deserves better, she won't believe in it herself. There's always a fear or a cowardly excuse from embracing true love. Sweetheart, it's about setting yourself free; it's about accepting the truth. Give it a chance, that's all you need.
A little bit of an influence from N Sync's "Girlfriend" music video and a little bit of actual life in this outfit.

I keep having the urge to apologize for not updating as often. And apologizing to myself for wanting to update as often. Alas, there are other priorities in life that I must attend to. For example, my ill health this past week(s) and of course, my day job - a job I love very much. Ladies, this is my apology for you. I figured Spring has arrived (in some areas), it would be appropriate to put a smile on your face. This look definitely gave me one.
Style Tip: This sweater will hug your body so tuck in the sweater and even though the sleeves are not of full length, slightly pushing them up won't hurt.

It's been quite windy in this part of the world; there is a slight chill in the air. Reminds me of Chicago even though I've never been to Chi-Town (will try and visit some day). I love this weather, but then again, I love winter all together. Today's look has been derived from the cold winds being felt here in Dhaka.
