  • To see the first part of this series, click here. The first outfit was quite a posh, somewhat relaxed look, something you'd see on a yacht party or an evening out near the beach. This time around, I tried for a much more relaxed look. Well, slightly toned down. Slightly.

I am going to leave this story to the imagination. She's been in my head for a while so it was only appropriate. Just know that she is sexy, smart, talented and everything dreams are made of. Like Trey Songz be sayin', "I've seen your Instagram, but you look better up in person!"

I'm sticking with yesterday's post on that challenge theme. Not really into competition unless it has something to do with sports but this is just, well, fun. Today's occasion is getting ready for a flight, with a must-have item being a chambray shirt. Keeping a few things in mind, you'll be on a plane so the look has to be comfortable. This look was also a bit inspired by the character Lena, played by Katherine Moening, on the show Ray Donovan. I love her wardrobe on that show.

Sometimes, all you really need is one item that stands out while on a contrasting background. Spring is about colors, sure; although, this does not necessarily mean you have to wear all the colors of the rainbow to celebrate the new season. You simply have to wear the correct colors within good taste.

It's part 2 of the series, you guys know the drill. Here are my favorite looks from New York fashion week in menswear. If you haven't seen the first post, head on back by clicking here: NY Avenue.

    Joseph Abboud
    John Bartlett
    Native Son
    Todd Snyder
    Rag & Bone
    Nautica

Today's looks were fantastic! I loved the entire Joseph Abboud collection. Bernardo Rojo has one huge points (not that I matter) with me as it was his first ever fall collection for the label. I can't remember the last time where I loved the entire collection from any label. To view the entire collection, simply click here: Joseph Abboud Fall 2012. I just want to state that the new crop of American designers and labels (fairly new/up and coming) have impressed. These designers can hang with the best in Europe. I love stating this because it just means more joy for a stylist like me. It's more joy for the entire fashion industry. Part 2 has been fantastic, part 3 coming soon...
