  • Not too long ago as I was praying, another fantastic idea of a dress popped into my head. I had decided to sketch it down and produce my second ever croquis. Unfortunately, there was still some prayers left and by the time I was done something had distracted. Someone might have called me over for some reason. Ultimately, the beautiful dress in mind (details and all) was completely forgotten. Kicked myself a few times on why I hadn't worked on it right away. What I do remember about the image that it is was a cocktail dress; it was something that was elegant and sensual. It was something along the lines of today's outfits. This may not be the exact or even similar to my design, but it meets the "3S Effect" criteria.

In the last post (of GS), I featured some shoes with colorful rubber soles. That isn't the only hot trend to follow when it comes to shoes. A big change this time is the re-introduction to the saddle lace-ups. The change is in the colorful details. Again, this fall/winter it's been all about keeping those colors that transitioned from summer. The only thing different in colors is having them toned down a bit that is appropriate for the fall/winter months. That doesn't mean you always have to play it safe. The wonderful makers of these shoes make it easier on you by putting two colors or shades together that compliment each other.
The contrast is the obvious giveaway. All you have to do, gentlemen, is make sure your socks go according to your pants(trousers)/jeans. Here are several of those fantastic saddle and colorful rubber sole lace-ups.

The cold air blowing through her hair and a very large tote did the trick for today's look. The simplicity in this outfit creates the essence a sophisticated style. When you have an outfit like this, it's important to keep your eye on the details. A person with a good fashion sense, more importantly, a person with appreciation for style will be able to spot out the details and fall in love with the entire outfit. But remember, it's not about what the woman is wearing. It's about the woman; it's about how she's wearing the clothes.

The style of street never fails. Although, this warm number was photographed near the woods in an open grass and colorful leaves filled field. A beautiful brunette with green eyes (killer combo) in a sensual but functional outfit - keep the cold away, keep the eyes drawn to the very chic autumn look.

Went backwards into the style directory to come up with today's look. Part of the 'Inspiration Series', this outfit was inspired, yet again, by the same woman that inspired the branching off of the series in The Outfit 42, The Outfit 42.1, and The Outfit 42.2. The layering and colors are easy to capture but also, makes sure there is still some breathing room. There's nothing 'heavy' about this look. The black long-sleeve blouse is used as the underneath piece for the look - a complimentary background so the rest can be subtly placed to the effect of the outfit being easier on the eyes.

A Scandinavian in Paris. Deep striking facial features of a Swedish goddess was gracing the Parisian footpaths in this outfit. Her near pale skin and her glowing Nordic hair made the look even more pleasing. Regardless, the color of skin or hair, this number is really pleasing to the eye. It's almost as if a little bit of summer is still sticking around.
