  • A very super-cute outfit worn by a very pretty young woman. The pop of one accessory makes the entire look adorable and still very chic. With her cardigan unbuttoned and hands in pocket, the smile on her face does the rest.

The sultry and seductive sound of Aaliyah (may God rest her soul) has inspired today's outfit. It's not just her voice but the video itself. The song I'm talking about is We Need A Resolution off her 3rd and final self-titled album (2001). It's been a little over 10 years and she is still missed and her songs are played regularly on my iTunes. For those who can remember, the video had the beautiful Aaliyah in several shots of her being seductive on a bed with fantastic make-up and costume. For me, a lady in all black, with her hair down, and light on the make-up is the ultimate look.

She stands there in a cold stare. The image is striking as she projects strength and professionalism. It's a look you wouldn't really relate to New York City. Perhaps up-state? Regardless, the photo taken from The Sartorialist shows a woman who owns the streets. She's got pigtails and her shirt tucked in while the coat is unfastened and resting on her shoulders. Here's the look to rock for the colder months with serious attitude. The sheer chicness doesn't stop here, head on over to LWIS for two more fantastic outfits: Mary Jane Magic.

The blue suit done right. As I was browsing through the usual fantastic shots by Mr. Scott Schuman (The Sartorialist), a gentleman was sitting on some steps in the chicest outfit going through his iPhone. From the cut to the colors, it was flawless. Today's post is to show you a similar outfit that you can pull off yourself. This is for the gentleman who isn't afraid to put the right colors together to show off a polished look.

Walking along the park and looking posh, she was an image of elegance. The colors are subtle, while the sleeves are rolled up and the first two top-buttons unbuttoned. It says expensive, but it's very relaxed; it's almost effortless. This had to be the outfit of the day.
