The Outfit 61: My Desi Girl

After going through the many looks of the woman I love, I wanted to try something a bit different. A post, not only dedicated to the woman I'm in love with, to all my Desi women out there. For those who are unaware, a Desi is referred to someone who is of Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, and or Sri Lankan background. There are plenty of desi women all over the world, some connected to their roots more than others. The love of my life happens to be one of them. In touch with her Pakistani roots, it was only appropriate that I presented an outfit that had a bit of South Asia in it. Here is, yet another, inspired look from her but meant to be shared with all the desi women in my life.
For a little more of desi flavor, check out the outfits in the latest Style. This (click here).

The Outfit 60

Black Friday. Every year, I see the chaos in pictures and on the news. I still don't understand why people go that crazy over discounts. It's one thing to camp outside the desired store, and another when people walk out bleeding and battered with bruises. There are no signs of bruises or the color of blood in today's outfit. That insanity aside, I hope all of you that celebrate Thanksgiving had a lovely day and stayed away from the leftovers. And don't forget to check out my latest outfit on the newest fixture of Style. This over at LWIS (click here).

Here is a much more relaxed look than what I have posted up recently, but no less stylish. Again, it's all about the care-free and confident attitude. More importantly, it's about being comfortable - not only in this outfit - under your own skin. The coat is unbuttoned, the hands are in the pant pockets, and the hair is let down. Layering doesn't always have to be so tight and no room for fun.

At times, street chic isn't really captured literally on the street. Sometimes, since it's pretty much winter, the wonderful outfits can be seen near nature. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, somewhere on the outskirts of town near some woods, a very chic and lovely young lady leans on a tree for the camera.

Gentlemen's Sartorial 12

Ever since I started styling and was introduced to the fashion world, I've always been a fan of the woven belt. Now, I'll tell you right away, this isn't for the men who keep things safe. The beautiful thing about these belts is that you can rock them in a casual look as well as make them a statement in a more dressed-up look. I've featured some woven belts for you gentlemen in today's post. Not only are they worth the purchase, they can be used in a variety of looks. The outfits coming out of wearing one belt are abundant.

This look is straight from the Chic Feed. A young lady with classically beautiful looks and her striking crimson colored lipstick stands there with purpose, while the fading sun light leaves its lasting effects as her glowing fair skin takes over.
