  • This look, instantly, reminded me of one of my oldest friends, Olivia (she has inspired an outfit before). Ever since we were kids, I have always called her "Olive". Hence, the title in Italian: Olive Oil. And as most of you are familiar with Italian cuisine (my favorite, just like everything Italian), you should know that olive oil is one of the most important ingredients in Italian food, like Olivia is in my life. In fact, about 20% of the world's olive oil consumption happens in Italy. Enough with the random food facts, on to today's look.
One thing I absolutely love about mio olio di oliva is her simplicity. I have always said, as Leonardo da Vinci had stated, that simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication. This young lady is elegant and chic when it comes to wearing dresses. She knows her figure and highlights her attractive characteristics. She even knows to keep the accessories in line; in other words, she always wears the correct accessories to compliment the entire outfit. Am I proud of her everyday look? You bet your pesto! Love you, Olive!

It's supposed to be nice. You know, feeling the spring breeze and the weather remains warm without making you sweat. There is no other way to explain the recent weather all over the world besides being simply crazy. It's unpredictable. One thing, like the weather, doesn't stop - accessorizing. Just recently, I read an article on MR PORTER's recent issue of The Journal. It's about a 60 year old Italian company that is recently getting some international exposure. Slowear is pretty much a company that provides a wide range of elegant casual wear. Their own brand, Incotex, are known for the many colors and styles of trousers that provide options for men to invest in.
The idea behind it all is that, unlike women, our appreciation only comes within the details of the clothes we wear. It's also about the fit. We may not have the freedom as women have when it comes to fashion, but with these up-and-coming international brands we have been given more room to breathe. We've been given more chances to a unique wardrobe. It gives you a doorway of different ways to express yourself without losing the elegant touch.
Accessorizing, like the current trend of bracelets or man-jewellery, assists you in that expression. What I have gathered here today are items that could be on your "must-have" list when you are out and about. Some items are even a must-have during travels on planes, trains, or long car rides. The number one concern, of course, is comfort. When it comes to traveling, you want to look your best yet feel at ease. Here are some accessories and shoes to put down on your list next time you embark on a new journey. It truly is traveling with style.

Just recently, I've been going crazy over the latest from M.I.A. Her addicting song "Bad Girls" has a very entertaining video attached to it. I've been a fan of hers since high school, that was back in 2003. Damn. I feel old. Anyway, one of the many characteristics of this artist that I have always admired was her attitude. Several years down the line and she still has that swagger. A woman with attitude is a turn-on, a woman who isn't afraid to take on the world if necessary.
Fortunately, this look was spotted on a young lady with exactly just that. Sure, she was great at posing for the camera, but her street style attitude was unmistakeably present.

This look is actually a bit more on the professional side, unlike the last look (115). Although, there is a similarity on how playful the colors are. There are softer tones in play here, keeping the reserve for the overall look. But the idea behind it is serious chic. The woman who was wearing this number seemed like she got what she wanted...did things her way, while she had her blazer draped over her shoulders.

Today's outfit comes from a young lady showing the 'busy bee' on-the-go look during the new season. It's about the very chic young lady rolling her sleeves up and getting down to business. It's not too professional though, you have to keep in touch with a bit of your fun side.
