  • Gentlemen, I apologize for the long delay. I would have liked to title this post Suit & Tie (yes, one of JT's hit singles from his new album) - matching post to The Outfit 246: Dress On I did for the ladies. This is sort of a corresponding post to that have the looks I did for the ladies a little while ago.
For those who really don't feel like taking a gander on what I did for the ladies, I'll explain. I was inspired by one of JT's songs - from his new album - called, Dress On. It sparked the idea for two different looks. One was all out 'red carpet' formal look and the other, a little more toned down yet sophisticated. With the new season in mind, along with the new hot trends, I've put together a couple of looks for you gentlemen in the same fashion.
Like I've mentioned many times before, I'm not telling anyone to buy these items; these serve as an inspirational agent. Take a good look at the outfits and conjure up ideas that will look good on you under your own budget.

    "There's something about your body
I'm not in a rush, but girl I'm ready to marry you
Yeah, right here in the restaurant
    And start in our honeymoon
While you still got your dress on
While you still got your dress on...yeah"
Today's post is titled after the song Dress On - a bonus track on Justin Timberlake's new deluxe edition album, The 20/20 Experience. I must state, it's definitely a "3S Effect" (haven't used that term in a while) type of music album. The Timberlake & Timbaland combination is simply killer. The music is just super smooth and mature. And yes, I listen to it every time I get dressed to head out.
The lyrics made me think of how much I love putting looks together for evening events. As much as I love putting together looks for everyday life for men and women, the special occasions is what I look forward to the most. That extra effort in class and sophistication is definitely worth the while. It's sort of a natural high, an aphrodisiac for the fashion savvy - for a moda oficionado like me. The style of clothing also reminded me of one of my 3 muses, Hayley. As I have mentioned in past posts, she is who I picture in gowns and on red carpets; to me she is elegance.
The lyrics got me to think about two different looks. First, there is the signature evening dress at a formal evening event. The second is slightly toned down for a quick getaway dinner for two and to whatever follows...Wink, wink.

One of my colleagues gave inspiration to today's look. She has the kind of young and sexy look, a playful appeal. Her smile splashes bright colors and her attitude puts things on chill; all is delivered, even though she's going mad inside of her head with all that she has to do. She's desirable for her talent (she's pretty damn good) but I admire her for her potential as a chic and successful young lady.
I'm very much looking forward to giving her an entire makeover because with her the combinations are endless.

In some places in the world, like the UK, people are feeling the coldest days near the end of winter. Yes, that's correct, I said winter. In other corners around the world, such as Dhaka, it's safe to say you are an easy target for heatstroke. Who had heatstroke? I did. But that's largely because of my own irresponsibility of not having the regular intake of water each day.
With that aside, it's given me the idea for today's look. Actually, a couple of looks (I'm feeling a little generous today). Like I have said many times before, many things in the world can inspire a new look for me or a certain image; even on days where I can find myself bed ridden after a heatstroke.
