  • In the spirit of celebrating the new 007 film, Spectre, I've decided to put together an outfit inspired by the many Bond girls of the franchise. My version of a Bond girl is a female that is not only beautiful and sophisticated, but not to be messed with. It doesn't hurt to have a little hood in her either, if you catch my drift (wink, wink).

I love sports, always have. Athletic activities have been in my life, one way or the other. And I have always found it very sexy when a woman can look feminine in a sporty outfit. A lot of my female friends back in Cali are huge fans of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Unfortunately, I can't share their passion because I'm a Yankees fan. Sorry, ladies, I still love you.
But that won't stop me from putting together a look for those Dodger Blue loving fans, without making it too obvious.

Okay so I decided to finally share my YouTube videos on this blog because it is actually quite relevant. I contemplated for a while, but I figured there's not much menswear be talked about on this blog. Naturally, sharing videos is also another way of reaching out to all the men out there who are aloof to the world of fashion.
I should have shared my first Style Session video but you can always make yourself run backward through the videos by subscribing to my Moody Vintage channel. I hope you guys enjoy this. And for those who don't know, my videos are for both men and women when it comes to style and fashion. It's simply my perspective of fashion and style in the city of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

To see the first part of this series, click here. The first outfit was quite a posh, somewhat relaxed look, something you'd see on a yacht party or an evening out near the beach. This time around, I tried for a much more relaxed look. Well, slightly toned down. Slightly.

A butterfly gracefully flowing through the concrete chaos. Funny thing, this outfit wasn't inspired by a certain look or beautiful woman. It's inspired by an actual butterfly. I was on my way to work, dealing with the usual noise pollution, alongside all the other toxic junk we inhale in the city. And in an instant, I saw a beautiful butterfly fly in front of me, swerving through traffic. There's something about watching a butterfly in flight, time seems to pause for a second; you tend to fall back and take a breath. Beauty and grace.

Nope, Tyrese ain't got nothin' to do with this post. Good album though. I'm not really sure why I've never thought of putting together more looks inspired by my friend Minci. This woman is gorgeous and her wardrobe recently has been stunning. From her hairstyles to the choice of heels, she is one stylish and proud, black woman. In fact, whatever M wears reminds me a lot of the outfits Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) sports on the show Suits, just a bit more relaxed and a tad sexier. I've always admired how M carried herself, so self-assured and never the one to involve herself in petty drama. She's always above that; quite graceful, actually. Even though those are memories from years ago, I'm pretty damn sure not much has changed.
I'm still kicking myself for never having the courage to ask her out when I had the chance. Love you, M, thanks for the inspiration.
