  • The wonderful folks from Vegas.com picked up on my style blog and wondered if I would be able to share a look that would fit the occasion for a swanky place like Rose. Rabbit. Lie. at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. Now, with a little free time on my hand, I finally got to tinkering and place out, not one, but two looks. It's basically 20s inspired looks that would be appropriate for a place like Rose. Rabbit. Lie. and I immediately thought of my friend Sabrina - 20s fashion happens to be her favourite. I hope I do it justice with my version of a 20s inspired look.
There's plenty of inspirations to go by, like the recent magnificent costume job on The Great Gatsby, but I tried to steer slightly off track for obvious reasons. Look 1 is more on the elegant side, blurring the lines between conservative sophistication and seductive sensuality. Look 2 has more of the wild fun and youth vibe. Finally, a shout out to Jennifer who actually chose my blog in the first place. Thank you!

With the whole 007 craze at the moment, I decided to do a Bond girl inspired look. It's no one specific, even though there have been so many stunning Bond girls, you can imagine how I couldn't think about singling one out as a favorite.
I, for one, am very excited to watch the new film Skyfall. It's been said it's the best Bond film ever. Hype or no hype, most of us will end up watching it anyway. Here's a look for an evening event with a sexy Bond girl attitude.

Let's keep things going with the fun summer colors and styles. Sure, it's the month of May but next thing you know, summer will have officially arrived. In fact, this is around the time when we usually see those summer blockbuster movies hit the theaters (ie. The Avengers and many to follow). I love this look so much it would definitely be something I would actually recommend wearing during your visit to the cinema. Realistically, this is an all day outfit so if you do have errands to run throughout the day, this would be a very chic and comfortable way of doing it. Just tie your hair back into a ponytail and you are good to go.
