  • In the spirit of celebrating the new 007 film, Spectre, I've decided to put together an outfit inspired by the many Bond girls of the franchise. My version of a Bond girl is a female that is not only beautiful and sophisticated, but not to be messed with. It doesn't hurt to have a little hood in her either, if you catch my drift (wink, wink).

I'm sure the cast of Heroes would appreciate that title. But unfortunately, this isn't a story of my soiree with the now pregnant Hayden Panettiere. This is about a cheerleader I crushed hard on back in the 7th grade. Apart from my celeb crush on Tyra Banks, before she went cray-cray, this crush lasted nearly three bloody years! Not sure if it was the soft curls, hypnotizing smile and dimples, or the incredibly proportional body. And her personality? Perky would be an understatement. She was, and possibly still is, an intelligent ball of positivity. And I felt that loving vibe from the moment we met. She thought I was the cutest, hugged me like no other. It wasn't just a hug, it was a 'squeeze the crap out of you' bear embrace.
But here's another pretty gal that favoured more skirts and shorts; although, I do remember her in trousers on many occasions. In my opinion, she did the skirt game the best. Those legs. Killer. She was athletic after all.
It's good to know we keep in touch from time to time. It's also good to see her with a successful business and being a newlywed. Hats off, love. Wish nothing but the best for you.

I love the name, I really do. I became infatuated with this character last year, when the show The Borgias came to an end. In all honesty, the show was somewhat modest in her portrayal compared to real life accounts. She was cast as a "femme fatale" at the time of the Renaissance (my favorite time period in history). She was known as the most famous whore of Italy. Just to make things clear, she didn't dress like one. Beautiful she was but even more dangerous were her desires. It was all pretty and innocent on the outside with a lustful of hidden agendas inside.
