  • My friend Sabrina has been addicted to these style challenge videos on YouTube, presented by Glamour magazine, called Dressed to Kill. The videos are of two stylists competing against each other to see who produces the best look. Easy enough right? Well, they are also given an occasion and a single item they must have in their outfit. This is where the challenge comes in.
Naturally, Sabrina - Athena aka my Jessica Pearson - asked me to throw in my look so that we can compare each other's outfit. Different individuals, different style. So I said why the hell not, sounds fun. Let's give it a go. All I have to say is, boy better bring his A-game.
    Occasion: First date.
Must have item: A gold skinny belt.

There are a couple of colleagues of mine who sport more blazers and sport coats than anyone else on the floor. They may not wear it every day but when they do, they look every bit of that "boss lady" image. A confident and commanding presence doesn't always have to be intimidating. It can also be inspiring and showered with admiration. More importantly, with figures to boast, it's always sexy to see a woman in control.

A friend and I had a conversation the other day that lead me to think of this post. This is, in a way, something personally inspired but can be easily shared with you all. I cannot reveal the entire conversation or the meaning behind the title (you can take a shot at it), but the idea of the given situation was quite entertaining. My friend, let's just call her Nadira, proposed a certain pact. A pact I'm referring to is basically to see Nadira and I together in the future as companions of sorts. It came to me to imagine a scene with us in it, at some kind of an event or an invitation-only dinner.
I thought to myself what would Nadira and I be wearing at that given time so this is sort of a his and hers looks for an evening event.
