  • I loved the show. It wasn't a 'classic' but it was very enjoyable. It hit all the right notes for me. Now, for the red carpet. I want to straight out say that my winner out of this list is Kerry Washington. Yes, I'm a huge fan of hers and have been for a long time but that's not the reason. Jennifer Lawrence usually wins it for me and she has been flawless in all the red carpets we've seen. She was gorgeous at the Oscars as well. But what won it for me was Kerry's subtle sting. She looked absolutely stunning - it was the quiet allure of her smile and posture. That color on her looked amazing, the entire look was hypnotizing for me.
It's the end of the awards season and I believe it was a good way to go out.

Well, alright. This one is a tad different. First, we had the BAFTA event and then, the Grammy Awards. Most of today's picks are from BAFTA. It's not only because film is my first love, but the fact that the Grammy red carpet attracts strange characters. In fact, every year there are only a select few that actually look decent at the Grammy Awards. For example, I'm not a big fan of Rihanna but she blew me away with what she wore this time around. Absolute stunner. At least her red carpet choice is better than most other choices. Ahem.
Anyway, here are my favorite looks from BAFTA and a couple of mentions from the Grammy Awards red carpets.
    Anne Hathaway in Burberry
    Jessica Chastain in Roland Mouret
Annabelle Wallis in Dolce & Gabbana
    Amy Adams in Elie Saab
    Jennifer Lawrence in Dior
    Andrea Riseborough in Vivienne Westwood
    Marion Cotillard in Dior
    Olga Kurylenko
    Carrie Underwood in Roberto Cavalli
    Rihanna in Azzedine Alaia

I told you we would be having a few more hiccups along the way. Good ones at that. The red carpet for the SAG Awards was actually livelier than the Golden Globes believe it or not. Rightfully so because it was all about the actors on this show.
Well, here you have it, my favorite ladies for the evening on the SAG Awards red carpet. One beauty after another. There was plenty of navy and shades of blue on the carpet this time around. And of course, that happens to be my favorite color so it was a pure delight for me. How adorable was Kiernan Shipka from Mad Men? She was a pleasant surprise. Julianna Margulies looked incredible, just beautiful. My favorite of the them all has to be Marion Cotillard. The classical beauty did it again on my top fav list and now, I faint.

    Marion Cotillard in Dior couture
    Nicole Kidman in Vivienne Westwood

I gave my word that I would try to cover as much as possible. I also try to not to put too much of me on this blog, as in sharing things that won't really benefit you. Then, I thought everyone loves the red carpet, right? Why not share my favorites from the red carpet with the rest of you? The show itself wasn't too much of a surprise as the winners deserved each award. Definitely have to catch up on a couple so I can be up to par by the time the Academy Awards strolls in.
Well, here is my list of the best dressed ladies at this year's Golden Globes red carpet.

Some people may say it's boring but I don't, I love it. No, I do not watch the Academy Awards just for the fashion. Before my passion for style and fashion, I had a passion for film (still do) and I have a deep appreciation for it. Watched over countless films in many languages and from different countries, I love getting lost into that world. This year's Oscars red carpet was fantastic and here is where I share, with the rest of you, my personal top 10 best dressed at the Oscars.
The winner, for me, was the amazingly Penelope Cruz. I fell in love with all over again. Pure elegance and old Hollywood, just the way I love it. Overall, these women graced the red carpet with absolute class, the way it's supposed to be.
    Penelope Cruz in Armani Privé
Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen (A close second.)
Natalie Portman in Christian Dior Haute Couture
Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford (btw the desi woman in the sari looks lovely)
    Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad
Emma Stone in Giambattista Valli (Fantastic as usual.)
    Rooney Mara in Givenchy
Stacy Keibler in Marchesa (Oh, George, you lucky devil. That shouldn't be a surprise.)
Bingbing Li in Georges Chakra Couture
Shailene Woodley in Valentino Couture (I wish you guys could see the details on this thing! It's magnificent)
