  • A week in Firenze (Florence) then the next in Milano, for fashion week, would be a dream come true for me. It's really one of my ultimate goals. There are, as always, great things to witness at Pitti Uomo (a trade show in Florence). I've shared what I could with fashion week so I've decided to share with you a specific trend that will be rolling out in the future. In fact, you can still sport some of the stuff that will be stylish next summer in 2012.
Well, gentleman, here are a couple of things to keep in mind for next summer. I know twelve months is quite a while but like I said, there are a couple of things you can sport now, this summer. One of them were the great amount of double-breasted jackets. The other, that is very much available now, are the suede shoes. From casual to dress-up, suede shoes are a must-have. Go out and get them! (read captions for info)
Banana Republic rogue wingtip (USD $140)
Lanvin suede and patent leather (around USD $365; various colors)
    Church's suede Bampton monk-strap (around USD $440)
Car Shoe classic driving shoes (around USD $338; various colors)
Christian Louboutin "Alfred" suede derby shoes (around USD $790)
With the prices given, I am not expecting you gentlemen to be going out and breaking bank on some of these fantastic shoes. The point here, as always, to keep an open mind and take these picks as small inspirations and use it to your advantage. There are plenty of styles and colors of suede shoes out there so you have no excuse for not sporting them.
Stick around for more, gentlemen because it also happens to be Paris fashion week. That's right. More favorite looks, this time from Paris.

No, it's not a new store or an upgrade of Old Navy. This one is for the gentlemen. I was browsing on the net as usual to one of my favorite bookmarks and ran into a nice little post from Details. I thought it was a perfect snatch to share with the rest of you because of one particular reason. There is a rush and a new desire to rock navy shoes this coming Spring (if it isn't already Spring where you live). There's a dozen picks on the site but I wanted to share with you the five I thought is definitely a "must-buy" or shoes that are definitely worth it.

    BOSS Black ($345 USD)

    Cole Haan ($198 USD)

    Salvatore Ferragamo ($670 USD)

    D&G ($495 USD)

    John Lobb ($1,560 USD)

These were my top favorites from the navy shoes. The beautiful thing about blue is that it goes with almost anything. I said almost so don't go wild and crazy thinking you can rock blue shoes with an all black pinstripe suit. Keep it simple, gentlemen. Another great thing about these blues shoes, besides getting to wear it with a lot in your wardrobe, is that they come in all different styles and is considerate to your wallet.
