  • This one was sparked by a recent Instagram photo of one of my muses. She wore a flannel shirt, in what she says, after a very long time and asked if she looked good in it. My response? Well, duh, she looks good in anything. I've known this beautiful woman for a decade now, and she hasn't aged a damn bit! Blessed I would say. Whenever I think up look that would suit her, it's usually elegant - a very vintage Hollywood look. This time around, I felt I should tap into her bad ass side. You know, boots to asses, while looking pretty. Love you, gorgeous.

This has nothing to do with the star of  Clarissa Explains It All and Sabrina, The Teenage Witch. There is no specific inspiration or special reason for this outfit. It's simple. It's crazy-hot in Dhaka. Let me make it clear. The heat I can handle, but the humidity is disgusting. Naturally, I thought of something pleasant. A lovely outfit for a lovely woman.

This is straight out of the latest episode of Covert Affairs worn by the main character, CIA operative Annie Walker. I've been a fan of Piper Perabo for a long time so it's really a delight to watch her every week. It's also nice to see her wardrobe on the show around the office, but even more of a treat when she's out on missions. In the latest episode, she takes a trip down to Cuba and has this lovely outfit that is quite fitting for a place like Cuba. This is something similar to what she wore.

Sometimes, somethings are just meant to be. I was thinking about one of my favorite color combos and as I was flipping through my regular inspiration pages, I came across a pretty young thing that had two of the colors I was thinking about earlier in the evening. If you follow my Tumblr, I've actually just posted the young lady's outfit. Now, today's look isn't similar to what she has but does involve two of the colors.

After going through the many looks of the woman I love, I wanted to try something a bit different. A post, not only dedicated to the woman I'm in love with, to all my Desi women out there. For those who are unaware, a Desi is referred to someone who is of Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, and or Sri Lankan background. There are plenty of desi women all over the world, some connected to their roots more than others. The love of my life happens to be one of them. In touch with her Pakistani roots, it was only appropriate that I presented an outfit that had a bit of South Asia in it. Here is, yet another, inspired look from her but meant to be shared with all the desi women in my life.
