  • I've always been a fan of the trench coat. As the cold winds have picked up in the city, it was only natural for me to think of this look. I go to and from work on a rickshaw as my main transportation so it's interesting to see what others are wearing, when the winds of winter (God, I hope Martin finishes that damn book) come in full force. The daytime is pretty warm here in Dhaka. When evening settles in, the slight chill creeps in from place to place.
In any case, it's a proper winter in many other places in the world so here's an outfit you might want to try on next time you head out to face the cold. This look is quite comfortable and has the right amount of warmth, it's much softer than the last one.

It's hot, humid and the rain comes whenever it pleases. April has been a little strange down here. The sun will beat down on you and soon after, a dark grey sky with a cool breeze tease.

Today's look comes straight from the most recent 'Wear It Now' section on GQ.com. Yes, it's for the men but it's the color combination that grabbed my attention. This color combo has been one of my favorites as long as I can remember. As a young boy, I always labeled certain colors and combination of colors by the names of famous universities back in the States. I grew up loving sports and mainly collegiate sports.
A certain shade of blue I would call Carolina Blue, referring to the school colors of the University of North Carolina (nicknamed the Tarheels). This can go on with other specific colors and today's look I always referred to as Michigan for the University of Michigan (Wolverines).

I could appreciate the boldness in her attitude. There was no offensive arrogance to her though, it was probably just because of her kind face. Nothing about her presence was arrogant, it was that kind of look that just made you slightly smile or smirk, you had to admire her.

Well, we went from Milan to Paris and now, New York. New York fashion week just started and you know what that means for the gentlemen. Here is part 1 of my favorite looks from NY fashion week.

I have to admit, here in part 1, there wasn't a single collection that 'wowed' me. It was more of taking one piece of one outfit and complimenting it with another. Shades Of Grey was a splendid surprise and the colors in the Steven Alan collection was fantastic.
