  • Gentlemen, let me start off by saying that you don't have to look or dress like me in order to be "cool". I am no trendsetter, but I do take pride in how I look. It is who I am. I say this because today's post is a look I sported recently for a birthday party. What I wear might not look good on you or may not suit your personal style. And that is perfectly fine! Again, GS should only be a source of inspiration. It's the same I do for the ladies. An outfit is presented, and you are free to play off of it. Here's a similar look to what I wore for the party with a few additions, apart from the scarf. In fact, what I was wearing is set to my profile picture on my personal Facebook account. You can always take a gander at my Instagram (look for the icon at the top of this page) to see what I was wearing.
I would also like to add, it's good to be back. Here's to a very stylish 2014.

In the world of fashion, September is a very busy month. In fact, it's not just fashion, it's pretty much everything else in the world of industries. I'd like to think it's the busiest as far as releasing new products. As always during fashion weeks, I post up my favorite looks from selected designers and share it with the rest of you. We're three days already into it so let's get things started in this busy few weeks. Here is part 1 of my favorite looks from NYFW for Spring 2013 in menswear. Enjoy.

I have to admit, here in part 1, there wasn't a single collection that 'wowed' me. It was more of taking one piece of one outfit and complimenting it with another. Shades Of Grey was a splendid surprise and the colors in the Steven Alan collection was fantastic.
