With the recent comment on my last post I decided to have something for the ladies as well. Many times before, I have told all of you that Spring is about color (even in Summer). One of my dearest friends and soon to be label partner, Sabrina (shhh you didn't read it here), typed a comment that pushed me to get this post out a little faster.
Ladies, this spring nothing beats the loud bold colors. This doesn't mean dress up like a clown and go on with your business. You have to remember to keep things in order, remember to have contrast throughout the outfit that's being added with your accessories. In my last post, I highlighted the picks from the entire Simon Spurr collection. For the ladies, Lanvin won me over with their SS11 collection. This is color done right! And once again, it's the non-heavy hitter that's got me dropping my jaw this time around. These are my picks out of the collection that I loved most; the entire collection is pretty amazing but these stood out the most for me.
Now, this is how it's all done. Lanvin is very unique and much different than the other French fashion houses, I love the fact they can go directly to the runway with more practical applications of their collections. You don't ever have to think twice about their clothing. Alber Elbaz (creative director), the Moroccan born Israeli designer, has done a commendable job with this collection. It goes to show that colors can be fun without making too loud of a statement.

Super likes! Now I go to bed happy :D :D
ReplyDeleteI will be wearing, and have been wearing lots of purple, magenta and yellow. Not together, of course. I love black for its classic look, but I love throwing color in there when it gets brighter outside. Even a bold colored scarf can take a dark outfit far!
