The Outfit 68: Janet
9:15 PMCarrying on from the last post, here is a 'party' look inspired by the 90s. To be more specific, by Janet Jackson. My beautiful friend Hayley and I began a conversation about music in the "good ol' days". We all have them (most of us), you know when there were less responsibilities to none at all. I was born in 85 and grew up in the 90s so we grew up listening to those iconic pop artists. Hayley and I both agreed Janet Jackson was arguably the real "Queen of Pop", sorry Madonna. How appropriate as Michael was the King of Pop. But we all have our opinions. Regardless, there is a music video to the song Escapade by Miss Jackson. The costume she wore in this video is the outfit I remember most vividly out of all the other fantastic get-ups we've seen her in. She was beautiful, late 80s/early 90s hairdo and all. Be careful, ladies, that doesn't mean it's OK to sport a hairdo from the early 90s. In turn, this became the idea for today's look.
