  • There are times I get mental flashbacks of the late teen years. Hanging out with a couple of my close buddies at the mall and if we we're fortunate, we would be visited by angels. Gorgeous girls at the mall, just flocks of them. My close friend/little brother Danny and I would never forget the day where we found ourselves simply speechless by two very beautiful women. They walked towards us, clearly much older than us, and we just stared like we've never seen women before. As if they were angels. As quick as they came, they passed by us at the same pace. The outfit in this post comes from a pretty young lady captured walking along the front entrance of a shopping mall which reminded me of that unforgettable afternoon.

I absolutely hate being sick. Having a fever takes so much out of you and all you can think of is when will you be able to get out of bed! The past few days have been a battle and I hate being away from this blog and away from sharing with you lovely ladies these wonderful outfits. Here's an advice, as much as you may love your family, never and I mean never find yourself stuck sitting in between two family members who are already struck with a cold. Out with the illness and back into your regular scheduled program.

Still a bit cold outside in some parts of the world. Mainly the snow storms hitting the States. If you don't know by now, the world's climate is all over the place. Snow storms in Spring? Enough said. But I believe it's the perfect scene for today's look. A nice and somewhat warm outfit was seen on the road sides by a lovely young lady.

If you haven't checked out the new addition to this style blog, go ahead and click here. But there is something that is very old but never fails. It's an iconic look and perfect for that very casual kick-back hang out with the fellas. I'm talking about the simplicity and respect-demanding white t-shirt and blue jeans combination. And, appropriately, listening to Lana Del Rey's Blue Jeans, while typing up this post (which is now the unofficial song of everything Moody Vintage, thanks S).
I've put together a few combinations of the t-shirt and jeans look with different accessories to compliment the entire outfit starting with the most classic (in the modern form, of course).

Style tip - The fitting of a t-shirt should hug your torso not squeeze it. For the love of God, never make your nipples visible through any kind of shirt (the fitting is perfect on the model you will see wearing the tee).  Also keep in mind, the t-shirt doesn't have to be white. Gentlemen do not sag because they are not, well, teenage boys. You are grown adults so you must look the part. It's OK to be young at heart, but it's a whole different situation when it comes to showing it - how to show it is something else. If you decide to wear a belt, make sure they match the color of your shoes. Also, the belt should never be the same shade as the shoes.

Salon - "A periodic gathering of people of social or intellectual distinction."
"A salon is a gathering of people under the roof of an inspiring host, held partly to amuse one another and partly to refine taste and increase their knowledge of the participants through conversation."

I have decided to add something extra for the gentlemen. It has plenty to do with style and less about wearable fashion. It's more about the behavior of a gentleman; it's just like how I am with styling - a balance between humility and glamour. The length of each post under this category may differ. Regardless, each entry will be a bit of knowledge that is quite significant towards everyday life. Let's kick things off with today's post:

    • A gentleman is still a human being, he will make mistakes. What makes him a true gentleman is that he will own up to those mistakes; he will begin the process to rectify those mistakes and apologize if necessary. The ego must be set aside in order to recognize the fault at hand. One cannot set things accordingly if his judgement is clouded by his own ambitions.

(Fact: The salon was an Italian invention of the 16th century which flourished in France throughout the 17th and 18th centuries. read more: Salon. Again, to no surprise, I love all that is Italian.)
