- A gentleman is still a human being, he will make mistakes. What makes him a true gentleman is that he will own up to those mistakes; he will begin the process to rectify those mistakes and apologize if necessary. The ego must be set aside in order to recognize the fault at hand. One cannot set things accordingly if his judgement is clouded by his own ambitions.
