Paris Show Pt.5

It's the final day and part 5 of my favorite looks from Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 13 for menswear. Paul Smith was the highlight for me today. There was something very arrogant, this effortless cool about it. It isn't quite sprezzatura because it obviously has that British cut to it. Paul Smith is one of my favorite Brit designers so this look was pretty awesome. And unlike the other collections we've seen so far, this was the most colorful on the runway but it wasn't too loud.
The overall theme of Paris Fashion Week was a lot less about loud colors and more about strict limited hues. We've seen a trend of the nautical theme, the blues and the whites so it was nice to see Paul Smith stay close to the colors we've seen this summer. Since we are on the topic of very colorful, I would have given it to Thom Browne. Unfortunately, his collection wasn't on the runway but out of the entire week his was obviously thee most colorful. It's...vintage Thom Browne. I warn you, it's not for the faint of heart. It's pure madness. Just the entire idea of it is simply pure entertainment. Don't expect me to recommend any of what the collection had to offer to anyone I know.
Well, that's it, that's a wrap. Au revoir, Paris.
