Private Collection: Summer Love
11:23 PMAnd queue Justin Timberlake, "This just can't be summer loooove!" It was the summer of 99. She was half Mexican, half Puerto Rican. Try to picture a younger version of Jennifer Lopez with softer facial features. She was that smokin' hot. A supermodel-like figure, legs for days and had no problem shaking what her mama gave her. You can technically count her as my first actual girlfriend. Sadly, the relationship (if you can call it that) lasted a couple of weeks; shortest relationship I ever had. Why? Well, she was the hottest thing in the neighborhood. A girl like that wasn't meant to settle, she was too hot to handle. The situation got infuriating at times, but we were young and stupid back then.
As attractive as she was, her name also spelled trouble. You know the kind of woman I'm talking about. Gorgeous, flirtatious, loved the attention. Unfortunately, she became a reason for me to physically get into a fight with one of my closest friends. He was possibly the only guy that had a genuine affection towards her. Again, we were young and stupid. Fortunately, we're still close friends. Fortunately, she's got a couple of kids now and has matured - a huge contrast to the naive attractive youth in those days. What I remember most, apart from her stunning features, was the passionate way we hated each other after the "breakup". There was this unexplainable care we had for each other but on the outside, it was fierce. We would curse each other out whenever we had a chance. But I love that kind of fire in a woman, and Latinas do it better than any other.
