Well, before anything, I must say the street style at Pitti Uomo (an annual trade show in Florence) was just fantastic. A real good span of a week to be honest. Although, this is more about my favorite looks from all the designers that made their Spring/Summer 12 show in Milan, Italy. Yes, I know. 2012? That's how the industry works, ladies and gentlemen. It's Milan fashion week for menswear and I have to say I love it so far. It was also very nice viewing a couple of shows via live stream on certain websites.
Here are my favorite looks so far. We'll go alphabetical order shall we?

• Burberry Prorsum (in Milan)

• Costume National (in Milan)

• Dolce & Gabbana (in Milan; my favorite show so far)

• Ermenegildo Zegna (in Milan)

• John Varvatos (in Milan)

• Neil Barrett (in Milan)

• Roberto Cavalli (in Milan; this was up there with Dolce & Gabbana, ah the colors!)

So far so good, I would say. Although, I did completely skip over Jil Sander. It reminded me too much of Versace a couple of seasons ago and it was a complete turn off. To be honest, it's something I would never wear myself; it's something I would never recommend. It's not my style and completely away from my personal taste. Overall, the shows were great. The winners in this round would definitely go to the Sicilian pair Dolce & Gabbana with there beauty in the details and Roberto Cavalli that made me want to fall in love with all those bold yet alluring colors. There's still more show so just wait a bit for part 2 of the Milan fashion week.
