    Gentlemen's Sartorial 2

Another Fall/Winter essential, this time around, it's the gathering of the wool ties. The best way to match the newly designed collections of wool ties is to wear them with different colored plaid shirts. That does not mean you have to limit yourself to only plaid shirts. The main idea here is to purchase the basic colored wool ties that brings in the warmer look for the colder months.

The first is the J.Crew Downtown wool tie. This is a charcoal gray slim tie that would go best with a white shirt and dark blazer or even a navy blazer. Remember, the color gray is an autumn staple in a man's wardrobe. It's perfectly for you to choose a much lighter shade of gray as well.

The Brooks Brothers knitted wool navy tie is another basic must-have. Again, navy is a color to have (not necessarily a Brook Brothers tie) in your tie rack this season. This type of tie goes best with a cardigan.

Stepping outside of the basics, the ties from David Hart & Co. is the perfect way to keep things lively and colorful. These wool plaid ties are a sign of being bold, keeping the summer colors alive with the appropriate skinny width.

There are plenty of other colorful and varities of wool ties. The goal here is to have enough of them in your wardrobe to use for many different outfits. Choose the colors wisely and the basics should be a given. Keep it stylish, gentlemen.
