It's no secret that my ultimate destination has always been Milano. Since I was a child, I always found myself under the spell of all that is Italia. For me, it's more than just the fashion aspect of Milan; I have always been drawn to the culture.
I have this scene in my mind that keeps playing over and over. To me, it's the perfect morning waiting to transition into an afternoon. I'm sitting at a table at a local indoor/outdoor Milanese cafe by myself. Covered all in Italian threads, I take sips of my cappuccino. I breathe in the Milan air while watching the beautiful and chic Italian women walking by from one direction to another. I am dressed as there is a purpose but not of the professional manner. I dress as I am in my sartorial nature, I drink because it brings pleasure to my taste buds and warms my heart. Purpose? Sitting there, enjoying the beauty, and finally saying to myself, "I've done it. I am doing what I have always wanted to do. Sto vivendo la dolce vita."
