Back to Paris
2:55 PMIt has to be a bit more difficult to trim it down to my top five favorite pieces of each show. The reason I decided to only choose 5 is because the majority of the pieces are simply amazing and mind blowing. I tried and it was heartbreaking to leave some of them out from each designer who presented their brilliance at the Fall 2011 Couture runway shows in Paris.

- Givenchy
- Jean Paul Gaultier (another difficult one)
- Maxime Simoens
- Valentino
Nothing tops a few shows of Haute Couture. Even though he's trouble, John Galliano's genius was missed at Dior. Apart from that, there was plenty to show and plenty to love from all the shows.

I swoon for all the Elie Saab pieces, and the floral Valentinos! I can't handle it. If only I had tons of money and places to wear them. I would be all over it!
ReplyDeleteYes, I know! I have to say that was my favorite collection out of the lot. There wasn't a single look in the Elie Saab that I didn't love!
