    A Little Fall, Please

    1:09 PM

In a few days, July will be over and summer will run into its last month. This gets me very excited. Why? Fall/Winter comes into play, finally! As a stylist, the fall (or the colder months) is the best time of the year. When the colder months arrive, it's layers all over and you seriously get to express your style to a whole different level. Summer is about kicking back, relaxing, and just having fun. Everyone needs a little break from time to time. When the fun is over, back to business - we get dragged all the way to the holidays. In a way, the fun doesn't really stop, does it? Well, being a stylist, the fun really never stops; it just gets better when Fall/Winter comes along.
This is the time to prepare for the coming season. I have chosen one of my favorite articles of clothing to prepare for the coming season. This particular item, I believe, is a transitional article of clothing. The cardigan. It can be worn during the summer (preferably during the evenings) and it goes into full effect during fall and winter. I absolutely love the cardigan sweater. With so many designers putting their unique detailing in the new wave of these knitwear wonders, I'm making it a personal mission to get my hands on plenty of cardigans the next time I head out for some retail therapy.
Here are some quality and worth the purchase cardigans gentlemen:

We all have to thank Lieutenant General James Thomas Brudenell, 7th Earl of Cardigan (1797 - 1868) for this wonderful creation. One of the many lovely things about this style of knitwear is that you can layer this on a simple t-shirt or put it on top of a dress shirt, with a tie around your neck (or bow tie), and make it look more sophisticated. It's not as serious as wearing a full on suit, but in the elegant fashion in which it is presented makes it a great substitute to a blazer.
